17 décembre 2007. – Le Français Jean-Baptiste Grange a remporté l'épreuve du Slalom d'Alta Badia comptant pour la coupe du monde de ski alpin 2008. Il s'agit de sa première victoire en coupe du monde. Il devance le Allemand Felix Neureuther et l'Américain Ted Ligety. Grange prend du même coup la tête du classement du slalom.
